The department offers three types of graduate degree (MS without thesis, MS with thesis, and PhD) in two disciplines: computer science and computer engineering, the latter jointly with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Admitted M.S. (thesis) and Ph.D. students are automatically considered for financial aid. U.S. students may also apply for National Fellowships, Scholarships and Internships. Please refer to the Tuition and Fee Calculator to estimate the costs of attending TAMU.
