The basic requirements for EH students in CSCE are below. View your progress in the EH status portal. For a more detailed list of requirements, see the information section below.
Each semester:
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA.
- Attend at least two EH activities.
- See our EH calendar page for upcoming activities.
Each academic year (fall and spring semester):
- Schedule and attend your honors meeting with a member of the CSCE Honors Committee (instructions for scheduling a meeting are on the requirements page).
- Before your meeting, please do the following:
- Study the EH-CSCE detailed requirements.
- Fill out and submit this Honors Required Meeting Prep Form and bring either a physical or digital copy to the meeting.
- Before your meeting, please do the following:
- Complete the EH survey (sent via email) in May.
Before graduating:
- Earn 21 honors credit hours:
- Must be engineering, math or science courses.
- At least 3 credit hours must come from a CSCE 400-level or approved CSCE graduate course.
- 6 credit hours must come from 491 honors research.
- Complete a thesis with the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program.
