Semester exchange programs are special agreements between Texas A&M University and partner universities abroad that allow students at both universities to study abroad while paying tuition at their home institutions.

The semester exchange program requirements can be found on our program requirements page.

Exchange programs are denoted by the class code ENGR 301. For their semester abroad, engineering students enroll themselves in 12 credit hours in the study abroad placeholder course ENGR 301. Enrollment retains students’ active status with Texas A&M University, as well as eligibility for financial aid assistance.
