The Engineering Academy program is the first engineering transition program of its kind in the United States. Unlike traditional transfer programs, students admitted into the Engineering Academies are Texas A&M College of Engineering students from day one!

The Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academies at Alamos Colleges District, Austin Community College, El Centro College and Richland College, Houston Community College, and Texas Southmost College and the Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham will begin accepting applications for fall 2018 on March 1. Students are co-enrolled between two institutions, taking their math, science and core curriculum courses through the two-year institution, while taking engineering courses from Texas A&M faculty on the two-year campus. These Academies along with the local partnership with Blinn-Bryan increases the access and affordability to an Aggie engineering degree and contributes to the technologically trained workforce in Texas.
