The Engineering Academies is the first transition program of its kind in the United States. Students are co-enrolled in Texas A&M and one of nine partner colleges. Academies students take mathematics, science and core curriculum courses through the partner college while taking engineering courses from Texas A&M faculty on the partner college campus. After one or two years, students transition to Texas A&M to complete their bachelor's degrees. Unlike traditional transfer programs, students are Texas A&M College of Engineering students from day one.
Note: The Texas A&M University Office of Admissions selects students from the freshman applicant pool for the Texas A&M Engineering at Blinn (TEAB) program. Prospective students interested in TEAB should follow all freshman application guidelines on the Office of Admissions website. Students with admission offers to join TEAB can find more enrollment information on the Texas A&M Engineering at Blinn webpage.
Due to technical issues, the Texas A&M Engineering Academy Application for prequalified applicants will open on December 8, 2023.
