Industry Partnership Opportunities

Whether you are looking to partner with students or faculty or need other industry-related assistance, the Engineering Program of The Texas A&M University System can help.

Industry can connect to student programs, either as a potential sponsor of student research programs or through various student internships and recruitment programs. The College of Engineering – through its affiliation with the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), also connects industry with continuing education and research resources.

Connecting with Students

Engineering Academic and Student Affairs, the academic dean's office for the College of Engineering, handles academic-related business for undergraduate and graduate programs. It also coordinates programs for pre-college and current students.

The Career Center partners with employers seeking exceptional candidates to help meet their organization’s hiring needs. The center also provides information on student organizations, internships, co-ops and upcoming career fairs.

Connecting with Research

Our faculty members conduct cutting-edge research to solve today's problems. Professors of practice participate in research as advisors, principal investigators for research grants, and act as industry liaisons to identify research topics and research support.

The TEES supports research that strengthens Texas’ economic base through engineering and technology and collaboration with industry. It focuses on seven areas of research, supported by state-of-the-art research facilities and centers.

The Office of Industry Research Partnerships at TEES serves as the contact for private companies and industries interested in pursuing research projects. It assists with tasks such as matching needs with faculty experts and developing research projects.

The Office of Commercialization & Entrepreneurship at TEES aims to catalyze the translation of discoveries and inventions arising from research toward products and services that benefit society, while creating sustainable businesses or commercial value.

The TEES Office of Business Development works with private companies and industries interested in pursuing research projects with the TEES, nationally and globally. It engages with potential customers in strategic markets and develops business strategies.

TEES EDGE offers many state-of-the-art professional development and continuing education opportunities. It ensures that recognized researchers and industry experts deliver superior knowledge and practical application scenarios to educate today’s workforce with the knowledge and skills needed to match economic demands.
