Overview
The France Computer Engineering Global Opportunity program is intended to provide Texas A&M University students with an in-depth experience in French language, culture, history, government and economics, in addition to their technical field and in-class experience.
Texas A&M students will have the opportunity to take CSCE 110 - Programming I, taught by one of the host university's faculty members, like a traditional exchange. However, what makes this experience so unique is that Aggie students will also get to interact with other Aggie students and faculty from different study abroad programs during cultural tours and industry visits.
Students will also have direct interaction with French students not only in the classroom but in a social setting as well. This interaction enhances the cultural experience and gives a distinctive perception of what life in France is really like. This connection with the community makes the program unique. The technical and cultural visits and the interaction with French students will also contribute to the students’ global competency development and preparation to join the global engineering industry.
Tentative schedule (subject to change)
Classes will be held during the weekdays, with some evenings and weekends available for industry visits, cultural tours, and excursions.
