Class cancelled/Operations suspended

UPDATE: Classes and campus operations will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Due to inclement weather affecting the Bryan-College Station area, Texas A&M University has cancelled all classes for Tuesday, Jan. 21. Additionally, all campus operations have been suspended. A decision about Wednesday, Jan. 22 will be made by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21. International Internships Structure

Our international internships are a two-part commitment. The structure is as follows.

*For students committed in any COE international internship, Q-drops will NOT be processed or approved for either summer or fall sections of ENGR 484*

Part one (summer):

  • Takes place in the summer.
  • Requires a $500 program fee.
  • ENGR 484: 0 credit hours.
  • Pass/fail.
  • 35-45 hours of research per week.
  • Weekly meetings with faculty mentor.

Part two (fall):

  • Takes place in the fall.
  • Requires ENGR 484: 1 credit hour.
  • Is grade bearing.
  • Workshops - Frame Your Experience.
  • Deliverables due: Technical and cultural report.
  • Poster presentation.
  • Global Competency Certificate.
