Overview
Aggies have the opportunity to live and study in Doha, Qatar, while receiving credit for courses in College Station. Students visiting Qatar have the opportunity to participate in several programs to experience a global melting pot of cultures, religions and customs. Aggies will be able to study in a culturally diverse environment with classmates from more than 40 countries, try foods from around the globe, learn a new language and travel the region. Students selected will be provided private housing in Qatar Foundation’s Student Housing and emerge themselves in Qatari culture and customs.
Students may request to take courses at other Education City universities upon request and approval in coordination with your academic advisor, to ensure course credit, and the Qatar Student Experience Office, to secure a seat in the selected course(s).

Housing
Aggies from the main campus are provided a residence hall room within Education City, giving easy access to Oxygen Park, the Qatar National Library, Qatar Metro and the Multaqa Student Center, home to a variety of restaurants, cafes and other leisure sports and activities.

Courses Offered
Students can look in Howdy to check what classes are typically offered in Qatar during the spring, summer or fall terms by selecting the most recent term. Available courses are for the upcoming semester are typically announced in November, for the upcoming spring semester, and April, for the summer and fall semesters, of each year.

Eligibility Requirements
- Open to all undergraduate classification starting the summer after freshman year
- Good standing with the university
- GPR of 2.5 or higher
Foreign Language Requirement
None! All courses are taught in English by Texas A&M University-Qatar faculty.

Passport
Students must have a passport or proof of passport application by the program application deadline. Texas A&M University students are encouraged to apply on campus at the Study Abroad Programs Office. See more information on passports. Your passport should be valid for at least six (6) months after your scheduled return.
