Overview
In this program, students work on a research topic of their interest under the supervision of a professor from the University of Cyprus. Student-to-faculty matching is done by the University of Cyprus. Students register for one credit of ENGR 484 at Texas A&M University. The faculty of record for the ENGR 484 course is the co-op advisor of the student’s department.
The one-credit ENGR 484 can count as a technical elective, pending approval by each department. It will count as the international component of the Engineering International Certificate (global certificate).

Eligibility and Requirements
Admission to this program is competitive and availability is limited. Evaluation will be based on academic performance, application package materials and program goals. Only complete applications that meet all minimum admissions criteria will be accepted for evaluation.
Students who desire to study abroad in Cyprus must have:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Good academic standing with the university
- Ability to attend all required program-specific orientations
- Sophomore, junior or senior (seniors graduating in the summer are not eligible) classification
