
Online Graduate Engineering Program Rankings
The Texas A&M University online graduate engineering program is 1st in Texas and tied for 6th overall in the U.S., in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Online Master's in Engineering Programs" for 2025.
In addition to our program's overall ranking, the 2025 "Best Online Master's in Engineering Programs" rankings for our individual programs were:
- Mechanical engineering – tied for 7th
- Electrical engineering - tied for 8th
- Industrial engineering – tied for 10th
We are also ranked 13th in the U.S. in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Online Master's in Engineering Programs for Veterans" for 2025.
Graduate Engineering Program Rankings
The College of Engineering is 1st in Texas and 9th among public institutions in the nation in U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Engineering Graduate Schools" for 2025 rankings. In these rankings, eight of our departments are also ranked in the top 10 among public institutions in the nation.
