Washington Monthly rankings

Texas A&M University is ranked No. 42 overall and No. 20 among public universities in the United States by Washington Monthly magazine in its 2022 national college rankings. This is because Texas A&M enrolls and graduates enormous numbers of first-generation and Pell grant students as well as students receiving science and engineering doctorates.

Texas A&M is also second among southern schools in the publication’s 2022 South Best Bang for the Buck rankings. The rankings are based on how well a college helps non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.
