Overview
This program will provide students with an in-depth global opportunity experience in Aberdeen, Scotland, the “Energy Capital of Europe.” In the classroom, students will learn about thermodynamics in the homeland of key historical figures in thermodynamics, such as James Clerk Maxwell, James Watt and William John Macquorn Rankine. Outside the classroom, students will visit sites related to thermodynamics and will experience the broader culture and history of Scotland.
