Overview
Participate in a nine-week research internship program at one of the finest engineering institutes in the world, India Institute of Technology (IIT). We have internship positions at IIT Kanpur, IIT Gandhinagar, and IIT Tirupati . During the internship, students will be engaged in a research project under the guidance of Dr. Vikram Kinra and a faculty member at the chosen IIT, while being fully emerged in the culture and research laboratories of the IIT.
Research internships enable you to develop a research-focused mindset, introducing you to the discovery of unique solutions through an analytical process.

About the University
The Indian Institutes of Technology, or IITs, are some of the finest engineering institutes in the world. The first IIT was founded in 1960 by a consortium of nine leading American universities, including MIT, Caltech, Princeton and Stanford. Over the years, new IITs have been created with their research and intellectual standards set by the consortium in 1960.

Eligibility and Requirements
Admission to this program is competitive and availability is limited. Evaluation will be based on academic performance, application package materials and program goals. Only complete applications that meet all minimum admissions criteria will be accepted for evaluation.
Students who desire to study abroad in India must have:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Good academic standing with the university
- Ability to attend all required program-specific orientations
- Sophomore, junior or senior classification (seniors graduating in the summer are not eligible)
