Interested in becoming an ambassador?

Halliburton Engineering Global Programs ambassadors are global program returnees who are passionate about their international experience and are excited to share their insight and expertise with fellow students.

As ambassadors, students continue developing their leadership and global competencies, which are marketable professional skills.

Students will gain pprofessional development skills, including:

  • Marketing and recruitment.
  • Public speaking.
  • Application/interview process.
  • Peer leadership.
  • Networking opportunities.
  • Program and self-evaluation.
  • Cultural knowledge.

Ambassador expectations:

  • Attend monthly group meetings/socials.
  • Maintain volunteered office hour times (one hour minimum per week).
  • Present information regarding global programs to student organizations.
  • Assist with Global Programs’ outreach events.
  • Present at informational sessions and pre-departure meetings.
  • Complete end-of-semester program and self-evaluations.
