Members of industry and the public are invited to attend the Texas A&M University Engineering Project Showcase, a major annual event designed to showcase engineering undergraduates' innovative projects to industry.

During the showcase, more than 300 student projects are displayed at the Zachry Engineering Education Complex highlighting the work of over 1,400 engineering students. Judges, industry members and the public have the opportunity to visit with student teams from all engineering majors and discuss their research. Projects on display are from the following categories:

  • Senior Capstone Design – Graduating seniors, from majors such as Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering participate in capstone projects.
  • AggiE_Challenge - Multidisciplinary teams consisting of first-year students to seniors present their work on grand engineering challenges.
  • Design competitions – Various student design teams compete at national design competitions.
  • Course projects – Student teams present project work completed in engineering courses.

Serve as a Judge

Judges are an integral part of the Engineering Project Showcase and we invite members of industry to sign-up. Judges are assigned to five student projects and will have the opportunity to discuss the projects in detail with the teams, evaluating them based upon a provided rubric. Judging five teams requires roughly an hour and a half, which leaves plenty of time to view other student projects. All judges are provided with a complimentary luncheon.
