Engineering Staff Advisory Council (ESAC) has several committees that help to meet needs and your assistance is needed! Expand the list below to learn more about each committee.
We are requesting volunteers to serve and share their knowledge and expertise to further develop the engineering program staff. Please refer to the below committee descriptions. If you would like to volunteer for one or more of the committees, email us at esac@tamu.edu.

Advocating for a positive work culture on behalf of the Engineering Staff members we serve.
Focus
We are committed to using the commonalities between staff members to deepen relationships, facilitate a sense of community within the organization we represent and create opportunities where staff members feel comfortable voicing their thoughts.
How we support ESAC’s mission
We support ESAC’s mission of serving as a connective thread by recognizing that Engineering is composed of people from different backgrounds and life experiences and creating a bridge that helps all Engineering Staff to feel a part of this organization.

To provide Engineering staff with ample service opportunities throughout the year and to better the community by contributing either with donations or volunteer work.

We are committed to developing relationships with area charities to determine ways in which ESAC can be of assistance, developing strategies for implementing outreach activities, and organizing and executing outreach events.

The mission of the Staff Appreciation, Recognition and Funding Committee is to is to promote and encourage appreciation for the many contributions of staff across Engineering.
Focus
The Staff Appreciation, Recognition and Funding Committee seeks to improve the morale and spirit of the Engineering staff through events as well as provide information and resources for professional development and educational assistance.

To produce a cohesive and successful staff professional development event for all engineering staff employees.
Focus
We are committed to producing a cohesive event that provides a platform for all engineering staff to enhance their own professional development while also providing an opportunity for staff to socialize outside of their day-to-day working environment.
How we support ESAC’s mission
The Annual Engineering Staff Workshop is an all-day event consisting of a keynote, active learning workshops, informational presentations, an info booth fair, lunch, and activities that provide an enriching, engaging experience that is not only fun but also forms the foundation for continuous improvement. Resources, services, and active learning experiences for staff blend seamlessly with opportunities to socialize and learn about the amazing contributions each of us makes to Texas A&M Engineering.
Additional InformationThe Annual Engineering Staff Workshop historically occurs in May of each year. Details about the 2026 Annual Engineering Staff Workshop should be published by January 2026.
