Applications for fall 2021 are open through June 30.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees associated with the Texas A&M University Engineering Academy are handled separately by Dallas College and Texas A&M University. Students are billed by each institution based on the number of credit hours taken, respectively.
Aid/Grants/Scholarships
While a student is co-enrolled in the Academy, their Texas A&M record will be displayed as non-degree seeking. All aid/grants and scholarships will be awarded solely from Dallas College. Once the student earns entry to a major and is transitioning to the Texas A&M campus, their Texas A&M record is updated from non-degree-seeking to degree-seeking. Here is some guidance for students seeking to apply for aid, grants and/or scholarships:
- Year prior to enrolling in the Academy: Students should apply for grants, financial aid and scholarships through Dallas College for the upcoming academic year.
- Year one and year two while co-enrolled in the Academy: Students should apply for grants, financial aid and scholarships through Dallas College and Texas A&M for the upcoming academic year. While co-enrolled, Dallas College will award any eligible aid or scholarships. However, it is still recommended that students submit the applications to Texas A&M in preparation of transitioning to Texas A&M the following fall or spring term. The Texas A&M financial aid and scholarship applications on file will be reviewed after the student’s Texas A&M record is updated to degree-seeking.
