Why join Engineering Inc.?

Engineering Inc. is led by Chris Curran ’87, who spent 30 years helping companies use information technology to solve problems and the last five years starting several software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses in an incubator he co-founded at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

We follow the lean startup approach and have a lightweight curriculum based on the book “Running Lean” by Ash Maurya and his incubator platform, LEANSTACK. We also discuss many other books and case studies, games and use other ways to learn about entrepreneurship in businesses.

We meet weekly for 90 minutes as a group to share progress and discuss topics ranging from how to find an interesting problem to solve to strategies for pitching your business idea.

The program runs at your speed — as fast or as slow as you like. In addition to the weekly meetings, one-on-one meetings for individuals or teams can be scheduled to help reach your next goal.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy, or if you want to learn more, apply to our program. Curran will schedule a time to answer any questions and get you set up.
