Why I want to be an engineer: I want to be an engineer because I believe that the greatest challenges have the greatest payoff. I love the idea that as an engineer, I will get to solve major problems in rapidly changing fields, and believe that nothing is more rewarding than seeing hard work come to fruition.

Favorite aspect of Engineering Honors: My favorite thing about Engineering Honors is the opportunity for professional development. By attending workshops, career fairs, and industry events, I have gained both the skills and the confidence to achieve my goals.

Why I want to be an engineer: It was in high school that I became aware of computer science. I was inspired by my teacher to pursue a degree in computer science.

Favorite aspect of Engineering Honors: The most captivating aspect of Engineering Honors is the sense of community and fellowship built by attending classes together, especially underclassmen level, and regularly meeting at events. Being able to recognize and talk to familiar faces helps when classes get rough.

Why I want to be an engineer: I like designing and building things, and seeing how machines work. I've also been good at math and physics, so engineering seems like a great fit.

Favorite aspect of Engineering Honors: My favorite thing about Engineering Honors is the honors classes. Especially in ENGR 111 and 112 we had much smaller classes, more focused classes, and all our teammates were honors students too.

Favorite aspect of Engineering Honors: My favorite part of Engineering Honors is getting to interact with other honor students during various events. As an underclassman, the course scheduling social was always helpful personally and now as an upperclassman, I love to help the new underclassmen.
