The Meloy Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program (MEIEP) has created a new program, Meloy Innovators, to recognize and reward those students pursuing entrepreneurial ideas that will drive commercialization opportunities in the future. We are passionate about "learning by doing" and understand that to realize your vision, you need to spend some money that you may not have readily available. The Meloy Innovators Award seeks to support students who want to take the next step in their journey, whether it involves purchasing materials to develop a prototype, hiring a graphic designer to help with an app or website design, and/or participating in workshops or conferences with like-minded entrepreneurs. Each winner will also have access to a mentor with relevant skills and experience. While not required, we believe this mentorship optimizes your chances for success.

Apply to Meloy Innovators

The Meloy Engineering Innovators award is $2,500. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, and we anticipate several awards being dispersed each month. You may apply multiple times.

How it Works

  • We use a rolling application process therefore, applications are always open.
  • Applications will never close, and we will review applications shortly after receipt.
  • Awards will be announced by email as soon as possible. Applications that do not receive an award will receive feedback to help with resubmission (if desired).
  • We will host a recognition event each semester, and they will be announced as scheduled.
