Students will meet KUBO and learn how to operate it, understanding the basics of coding through TagTiles, which includes directions and functions. Navigate KUBO through various mats and environments, solving challenges and puzzles along the way.
Introduction to Coding with Vex 123 (Grades K-2)
Program a robot! Using the robot's touch-sensitive buttons, physical coding cards or the VEX Coder, learn about computer science and computational thinking. Through scaffolded programming methods, create algorithms to navigate environments, solve puzzles and explore the engineering design process.
Coding with micro:bit (Grades 3-8)
Get hands-on experience with coding and digital making using this award-winning programmable device. Learn and utilize basic programming concepts through block-based coding to design and create various projects.
Introduction to Robotics with Ozobots (Grades 3-5)
Explore coding basics with hands-on activities, guiding pint-sized robots along colorful paths for a fun, educational experience. Build computational thinking skills through coding by solving various puzzles and challenges.
Introduction to Arduino and Electronics (Grades 8-12)
Learn how to design and build your own circuits using different devices and sensors. Hands-on activities foster creativity and foundational skills in technology and engineering.
