Invention Convention Texas 2026: Saturday, April 25
Spark! PK-12 Engineering Education Outreach, a division of the Texas A&M Engineering Office of Workforce Development, is thrilled to announce the launch of Invention Convention Texas! In partnership with the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, which supports Invention Convention affiliates nationwide, this program empowers PK-12 students across the state to unleash their creativity, develop innovative solutions and showcase their inventions. At Invention Convention Texas, students will participate in hands-on challenges, enhancing their STEM literacy and building essential skills in science, technology, engineering and math. Invention Convention not only sparks an early passion for engineering but also connects students to a larger network of innovators, helping them explore future careers in STEM fields.
Participation in invention education is free, and all resources are available at no cost through inHub by The Henry Ford. Students will showcase their innovations locally in Texas, with the top projects advancing by invitation only to the state-level Invention Convention Texas competition on April 25, 2026, held in person at Texas A&M University. Winning ICTX projects will have the opportunity to exhibit their projects in the U.S. Nationals competition at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan.
