Dr. Yue Kuo, Dow Professor in the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University and Electrochemical Society (ECS) Fellow, was featured in an ECS podcast for his work in solid state science.
Kuo was interviewed on his personal and professional journeys in education and industry, including his early days in a battery factory where he first came across the ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology. In the podcast, Kuo credits his professional success as a fusion of experiences in science and academia. He emphasizes the importance of using multidisciplinary approaches in solving problems. In May, Kuo received the Gordon E. Moore Medal from the society and was elected ECS vice president.
