Taking the Math Placement Exam 4

Testing will be offered online and proctored by the College of Engineering and College of Science using Zoom. No calculators are allowed. On the day of your exam, plan on the following:

  1. If you have signed up for NetID two-factor authentication, you will need your cell phone to log in to the Howdy Portal.
  2. Only students will be allowed in the online testing room.
  3. Be prepared with the following personal supplies for use during the online proctored exam:
    1. A laptop or desktop with a Google Chrome browser
    2. Your picture ID (state or other government issued ID, or school ID)
    3. Blank scratch paper and pencils
    4. A smartphone with a camera and suitable data plan to support video streaming
      • Alternative to a smartphone: Students may use a USB based web camera with tripod or stand that can be used (similar to a smartphone) for proctored testing purposes associated with online courses.
