Texas A&M’s College of Engineering is positioned to be a leader in artificial intelligence and machine learning through groundbreaking research across diverse fields including energy, healthcare, materials and manufacturing, and information and data science. Our faculty and students are leveraging the power of interdisciplinary projects across departments and research labs and centers to tackle the key challenges involving AI and use it to improve education and make a positive impact on society.  

AI Research In The News

Drs. Shuiwang Ji, Xiaoning Qian and Byung-Jun Yoon are one of the teams taking part in the APECx program funded by ARPA-H.

Texas A&M University joins a Northwestern University-led Engineering Research Center to bring highly skilled, affordable robotic assistance to the workforce and beyond.

Educational Opportunities

The college offers educational and research opportunities in artificial intelligence and machine learning studies for both undergraduate and graduate students, including the upcoming Master of Science in Data Science.

In addition, the college offers a graduate-level certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which prepares students to understand the capabilities of modern AI methodologies and machine learning approaches to effectively apply them in their respective fields of operation.
