
The graduate program at Texas A&M University’s College of Engineering was ranked No. 9 in nation amongst public universities, according to U.S. News & World Report 2025-2026 Best Engineering Graduate Schools Rankings. The program was ranked No. 15 overall in the nation.
“This recognition is a testament to the exceptional quality of our graduate programs,” said Dr. Robert H. Bishop, vice chancellor and dean of Texas A&M Engineering. “By providing students with high-level research and collaboration opportunities with expert faculty members, our graduate education equips students for successful careers in industry or academia.”
In addition to the college’s top 10 public ranking, eight departments were ranked as top 10 public graduate programs in the nation, with six departments ranking or tied for No. 1 in Texas.
The College of Engineering also retained the No. 1 spot in the nation for engineering research expenditures in fiscal year 2024.
