The aerospace engineering undergraduate program at Texas A&M University is ranked sixth among public institutions, according to the recently released 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings.
“We are very pleased to see our tenure in the top 10 overall undergraduate programs for aerospace engineering continue,” said Dr. Ivett A. Leyva, department head of aerospace engineering and College of Engineering Excellence professor. “As we transform our building into a modern and welcoming place for students and receive more large capital investments for research, alongside the growth of our esteemed faculty, the future of aerospace engineering at Texas A&M shines even brighter.”
The Department of Aerospace Engineering’s undergraduate program placed 10th in the overall ranking, and its graduate program ranks seventh among public institutions and 10th overall.
The department offers a Bachelor of Science, Master of Engineering, Master of Science and doctoral programs. It also has an online Master of Engineering program for students who want to continue working while pursuing advanced degrees.
