Deepa and Thomas J. Mireles '94 have established the Deepa and Thomas J. Mireles '94 Scholarship. This endowment will be used to provide one or more scholarships to full-time students in good standing pursuing an undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University.
Thomas earned his bachelor's degree in 1994 and his master’s degree in 1995, both in petroleum engineering. During his time at Texas A&M, Thomas was also a part of the Society of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists.
He currently works for Murphy Oil Corporation and the family resides in Houston.
