Spyridon Tsolas, a Ph.D. student in the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering, won a best poster award at the 2019 Foundations of Computer Aided Process Design Conference. Tsolas is a third-year student in a research group led by Dr. M.M. Faruque Hasan, assistant professor and Kim Tompkins McDivitt ’88 and Phillip McDivitt ’87 Faculty Fellow.

Tsolas’ poster, "Systematic Design, Analysis and Optimization of Water-Energy Nexus," was selected as one of the best from more than 100 posters that were presented at the conference.
