Five faculty members in the J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University have been appointed to new faculty fellowship and professorship positions.
Assistant Professor Dr. Michael Moreno will serve as the inaugural J. Mike Walker Faculty Fellow, Assistant Professor Dr. Bruce Tai will serve as the inaugural Mechanical Engineering Industry Advisory Council Faculty Fellow, Associate Professor Dr. Choongho Yu was selected to serve as the Sallie and Don Davis ’61 Faculty Fellow II and Associate Professor Dr. Srikanth Saripalli was selected to serve as the Gulf Oil/Thomas A. Dietz Career Development Professor II. The four appointments are effective immediately.
Associate Professor and Morris E. Foster Faculty Fellow II Dr. Ya Wang will serve as the Leland T. Jordan Career Development Professor. Her appointment is effective Sept. 1.
