Caitlyn Talbert has established the Caitlyn Talbert ’16 Scholarship in the J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering to be used to provide one or more scholarships to full-time students in good standing pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.
A recent graduate, Talbert felt called to support the university through a scholarship endowment. She chose the mechanical engineering department specifically because of her experience while a student.
“I chose the mechanical engineering department because it’s near and dear to my heart, and it provides students with so many opportunities within the industry,” Talbert said.
Utilizing the Shell Global match program, Talbert began her legacy of impact.
“I was fortunate to be a recipient of an endowment during my four and a half years of school, and I wanted to reduce the financial burden for someone else,” Talbert said.
