The Texas A&M University College of Engineering and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) are hosting a National Manufacturing Day event on Friday, Oct. 7 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Engineering Innovation Center on the Texas A&M campus.
The event highlights the manufacturing capabilities of Texas A&M that can be utilized by businesses in the community. Bryan and College Station businesses and community leaders are invited to attend.
Dr. Eleftherios Iakovou, TEES director of manufacturing and logistics innovation initiatives, and Dr. Satish Bukkapatnam, director of the TEES Institute for Manufacturing Systems, will give opening remarks and an overview of TEES’ manufacturing capabilities. Following the remarks, participants will tour the manufacturing facilities on the Texas A&M campus.
