Tina and Sean Smith have established the Tina L. (Hrncir) ’82 and M. Sean Smith ’83 Roughneck Scholarship. This four-year scholarship is awarded to students with financial need who maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University.
The Smiths have been involved with giving to Texas A&M for 10 years including contributions to the 12th Man Foundation, Association of Former Students, and the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering.
Sean Smith is a partner in EnCap Investments L.P. He currently resides in Cypress, Texas with his wife Tina and their three children.
