Dr. Early and Noel Denison ’66 have established the Noel and Early Denison ’66 Scholarship in mechanical engineering. The scholarship will provide one or more scholarships to full-time students in good standing pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Early is a retired consultant in offshore drilling. He previously worked for Shell Oil Company and for the ExxonMobil Corporation. He received a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M in 1966 and his master’s and doctoral degrees in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.

Early and his wife Noel have three children and live in Houston. His sons, Early ’96 and Marc ’99 both received degrees from Texas A&M.

The Denisons have been long time supporters of the university with a history of giving to both the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Association of Former Students.
