Soco AGU Sleeping DragonThe American Geophysical Union has highlighted an article in the Journal of Geophysical Research – Oceans, written by Texas A&M University civil engineering postdoctoral scholar Binbin Wang, and Dr. Scott Socolofsky, professor in the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering, along with colleagues from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

The article, "Observations of bubbles in natural seep flares at MC 118 and GC 600 using in situ quantitative imaging,” reports results of the July 2014 research cruise in the Gulf of Mexico on the E/V Nautilus. The cruise was part of the Gulf Integrated Spill Research consortium (GISR) funded by the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative.
