The most recent publication of Dr. Jodie Lutkenhaus, associate professor and the William and Ruth Neely Faculty Fellow in the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University, is on ACS Macro Letters Top 20 Most Read List for the month of February.
The article is co-authored by Fei Li, Yanpu Zhang and Se Ra Kwon, who are all researchers in Lutkenhaus’ Organic Thin Films and Nanostructures Lab.
The article, “Electropolymerized Polythiophenes Bearing Pendant Nitroxide Radicals,” reports on a facile way to synthesize polythiophenes carrying 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperindinyl-1-oxyl (TEMPO) radicals. This work was supported in part by the Welch Foundation.
ACS Macro Letters publishes research in all areas of contemporary soft matter science in which macromolecules play a key role, including nanotechnology, self-assembly, supramolecular chemistry, biomaterials, energy generation and storage and renewable/sustainable materials.
