Dr. Lewis Ntaimo, associate professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University, and Dr. V. Jorge Leon, Allen-Bradley professor in the department, were recently featured in the February issue of IIE magazine.
The article highlights Leon and Ntaimo’s team for developing a model for companies to enhance performance by sharing partial information with other companies when collaborating on a large-scale project in an uncertain environment.
Leon and Ntaimo authored the article “Nodal Decomposition-Coordination for Stochastic Programs with Private Information Restrictions,” with Eric B. Beier, General Dynamics information technology senior scientist, and Saravanan Venkatachalam, Wayne State University assistant professor.
