Exosent_logoExosent Engineering was ranked 17th in the 2015 Aggie 100 which identifies, recognizes and celebrates the 100 fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world. Exosent, which had a compound annual growth of 87 percent from 2012 through 2014, is led by Dr. Andrew Duggleby ‘02, former assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Yuval Doron ‘09, lecturer in the department.

Duggleby and Doron paired their engineering knowledge and fabricating experience in 2010 to start Exosent. The company designs and manufactures transport trailers for hauling hazardous materials and liquids on the highway. Exosent uses cutting edge computer software that allows them to account for every aspect of the design process down to the final weld.

“When running a business one should first ensure the company holds paramount the quality of its products,” Doron said. “Profitability will soon follow.”

The Aggie 100 program was created by the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship (CNVE) in Texas A&M’s Mays Business School, honors graduates from across disciplines for their entrepreneurial endeavors and success as business leaders.

The award winners were recognized during a luncheon held recently on the Texas A&M campus.

“As we enter our second decade honoring business excellence with the 11th Annual Aggie 100, we reflect on all the Aggie businesses that came before and look forward to the future success of Aggie entrepreneurs to come,” said Dr. Richard H. Lester, executive director of the CNVE. “From agriculture to technology and everything in between, this year’s list signifies that, no matter your background, the Aggie entrepreneurial spirit is alive and thriving. Our sense of entrepreneurial pride swells each year, as we recognize how successful businesses can become by keeping the Aggie Code of Honor at the heart of everything they do.”
