JOSEPH-MORGAN_FALL-2015M. Katherine Banks, vice chancellor and dean of engineering, has appointed Dr. Joseph Morgan the Charlotte and Walter Buchanan Faculty Fellow in Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution in recognition of his accomplishments and future potential. The endowed faculty fellowship appointment is effective Nov. 1.

Morgan is a professor in the Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution. He joined the Texas A&M engineering faculty in August 1989. He received his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento in electrical engineering, and his master’s and Doctor of Engineering degrees, both in industrial engineering, from Texas A&M. 

Morgan’s research interests include microprocessor-based data acquisition and control systems; airspace management systems; radar performance; and analysis systems.
