M. Katherine Banks, vice chancellor and dean of engineering, has appointed Dr. W. John Lee the Chevron Faculty Fellow in the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering in recognition of his accomplishments and future potential. The endowed faculty fellowship is effective Nov. 1.
Lee is a professor in petroleum engineering. He received his Ph.D., master’s and bachelor’s degrees, all in chemical engineering and all from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
