The Texas A&M University Institute for Industrial Engineers (IIE) Student Chapter will hold a career fair on Sept. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Emerging Technologies Building lobby.

The career fair will give students the opportunity to network within the industrial and systems engineering field and meet recruiters. Currently, 15 companies are expected to attend, including Pepsico, Lockheed Martin, Dow Chemical and Walmart.

Students may also receive a dinner ticket from a recruiter, allowing them to continue speaking with the recruiter after the career fair.

Attendees can also attend the Bray International speaker meeting directly before the career fair, which will also serve as a résumé workshop.

“The career fair is an event that helps you to grow your network and builds your know-how of the different fields of industrial engineering,” said Travis Wilcox, IIE president.

The career fair is business formal, and attendees are encouraged bring copies of their résumé. For more information, contact Wilcox at traviswilcox@tamu.edu.
