M. Katherine Banks, vice chancellor and dean of engineering, has appointed Dr. Ivan Damnjanovic the J.L. “Corky” Frank/Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC Faculty Fellow in the Dwight Look College of Engineering in recognition of his accomplishments and future potential. The endowed faculty fellowship appointment was effective Sept. 1.
Damnjanovic is an associate professor in the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering. He joined the Texas A&M Engineering faculty in 2012. He received his Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006.
Damnjanovic’s research interests include management of project development; project finance; construction management; transportation infrastructure; and dynamics of reconstruction.
