Mark Tuck, a mechanical engineering undergraduate student, and Hugo DeLeon and Rebecca Jones, both electrical and computer engineering undergraduate students, received scholarship awards at the Gulf Coast Power Association (GCPA) Spring Conference luncheon on March 31.
The Dave Olver Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Tuck and Hugo DeLeon an electrical and computer engineering student, while the GCPA emPOWERing Women Scholarship was awarded to Rebecca Jones from electrical and computer engineering.
The Gulf Coast Power Association has served Texas and the Gulf Coast for over 25 years as a regional electric power trade organization dedicated to promoting an improved understanding of the issues and opportunities impacting contemporary power markets.
