Texas A&M Engineering’s graduate program ranked 12th overall and seventh among public institutions in the latest U.S. News & World Report survey, “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2016.”

Individual programs ranked were: Aerospace Engineering, 8 (5 public); Agricultural Engineering 2 (2); Biomedical Engineering 36 (17); Chemical Engineering 26 (16); Civil Engineering 15 (10); Computer Engineering 21 (13); Electrical Engineering 18 (11); Industrial Engineering 10 (6); Materials Engineering 39 (23); Mechanical Engineering 16 (8); and Nuclear Engineering 3 (2).

Computer Science, which is ranked in the Sciences category, was last ranked in 2014 and was 40th nationally and 21st among public institutions. Petroleum Engineering was last ranked in 2008 and was second nationally and second among public institutions.
