LquadrifoglioDr. M. Katherine Banks, vice chancellor and dean of engineering, has appointed Dr. Luca Quadrifoglio the E.B. Snead ’25 Career Development Professor I in the Dwight Look College of Engineering. The endowed professorship appointment is effective June 1.

Quadrifoglio, who joined the faculty at Texas A&M University in 2006, is an associate professor in the Zachry Department of Engineering.

Quadrifoglio earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering from Politecnico Di Milano in Milan, Italy, and a master’s of engineering management from the University of Southern California. Quadrifoglio received his Ph.D. in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Southern California.  

Quadrifoglio’s research interests include: modeling, design and optimization of demand responsive services, analytics and continuous approximation models, valid inequalities and logic constraints, scheduling algorithms, and multi-objective decision analysis.
