The Texas A&M Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a membership organization that enables it’s members to share knowledge, develop engineering skills, and build professional relationships. Follow ASME on Facebook.

ASME hosted its 7th Annual Golf Tournament at the Traditions Club Golf Course in Bryan, Texas on April 14, 2014 to raise funds toward the Mechanical Engineering Scholarship Fund. Students enjoyed a free round of golf on a beautiful course, and networked with representatives from participating companies.  It is the goal of ASME to support as many students as possible in attaining their Mechanical Engineering degree at Texas A&M.

ASME raised over $45,000 in scholarship funds this year.

The participating companies were:

   1. Air Liquide

   2. Phillips 66

   3. Air Products

   4. Cameron

   5. Stress Engineering

   6. Chevron

   7. ConocoPhillips

   8. Halliburton

   9. Dynamic Systems

   10. Merit Energy

   11. Exxon Mobil

   12. PPG

   13. BP

   14. INEOS

   15. ASME (Student Section)

The Department of Mechanical Engineering thanks ASME and the participating companies for their effort in raising scholarship funds for students.
