The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Computer Engineering & Systems Group at Texas A&M University along with the NSF Science and Technology Center’s Center for Science of Information are sponsoring the Texas A&M Science of Information Days on April 3 and 4.

The workshop, which will bring together research groups working at Texas A&M and other institutions on Science and Information topics including information theory, control theory, and statistics, will be held in Room 601 of the Rudder Tower on the Texas A&M campus.

The focus of the workshop is connections between these disciplines and biological information processing. The workshop aims to publicize collaborative efforts of members of the NSF Center for Science of Information and to foster interaction with non-member local faculty and leaders. There will be six talks by invited speakers as well as a tutorial and a poster session.
