Siblings Kim and Ed Cadena recently endowed a $25,000 scholarship in honor of their parents Margaret and Ed Cadena. The Margaret and Ed Cadena ’42 Family Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate students pursuing a degree in the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering.
Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must have a GPR of 3.0 or higher in addition to being an active member of the Corps of Cadets. The Petroleum Engineering Scholarship Committee is responsible for reviewing applicants and selecting qualified recipients.
Ed Cadena received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University in 1970 and currently resides in Houston, with his wife Lynn. Kim Cadena also lives in Houston.
