Job Duties

Coordinates, researches, and writes research articles, profile features, and news releases highlighting current events and successes of the J. Mike Walker '66 Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Transform complex information into easily-understood content for internal and external audiences.
Proactively work with researchers, faculty, and students to develop content for the department.
Ensure clear messaging across all content and consistency with the college's and university's strategic goals and brand.
Create and write content for department social media posts.
Coordinate with department leadership, faculty, and staff to identify print material needs for events and recruitment.
Serve as a communications liaison to support department priorities within the engineering program.
