The objective of the MEEN Ambassadors is to provide a peer-to-peer perspective to prospective students, freshmen, and current mechanical engineering students. The Ambassadors are able to offer the unique viewpoint of a current mechanical engineering student and have a wide range of experiences from which to draw information. The Ambassadors are available to answer questions regarding mechanical engineering as a profession, the J. Mike Walker '66 Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, class and scheduling advice, study abroad, internships, co-ops, student organizations, transferring to the department, and the general engineering entry to a major process, among other things.
